From the 20th of November to the 28th of November, 2018 in the framework of the Agreement of cooperation between Karaganda Economic University (Kazakhstan) and the National Research University Higher School of Economics (Russia), seventeen staff members of Karaganda Economic University completed the advanced training on the additional professional advanced training program on theme “Educational Management at University 4.0” for a total of seventy two academic hours. Upon completion of the successful completion of the course, participants were presented with certificates of the established sample.
A master class on the preparation of fruit lemonade was held for the pro-adaptation of students of the 1st year or specialty "Restaurant and Hotel Business".
Student of group RD-23s Mozgovoi Alexandr in his spare time working as a barman in the restaurant "Villa Borgeze". For the students of RD-12, RD-15s group - curator Alekseenko T.N., Alexandr conducted a master class on the preparation of natural fruit lemonade, told how to prepare and serve lemonade, held a tasting. Freshmen under the guidance of a mentor consolidate their skills.
Teachers of the Department «Social work and APK», students of «Social work» and «Basics of law and Economics» discussed the main provisions of the Program article of the President of Kazakhstan, Leader of the Nation N.A. Nazarbayev «Seven faces of the great steppe».
President’s new article of the country was a continuation of the program «Rukhani zhangyru». In the article he clearly outlined the historical, scientific and moral guidelines that are so necessary today for the spiritual development of our country.
During the discussion, the participants emphasized that the implementation of six new projects on the study of Kazakhstan’s history and promotion of the cultural heritage of the people of Kazakhstan, proposed by N.A. Nazarbayev, will become a powerful basis for the further development of science, art and culture and will make a unique contribution to the development of world civilization.
The Department of Ecology and assessment held a training seminar for students" communicative culture: employer – graduate". Was invited leading specialists of the Department of ecology and natural resources of the Karaganda region Sadibek N. and Amsibay A., as well as the appraiser, LLP "PSD-Parents" Zaripova Z. the Meeting aroused great interest and was very helpful for students who have found answers to many questions about the future of the specialty, scope of knowledge, employment opportunities and career building. Our guests became interested in the competencies of our graduates and invited them to their enterprises for practical training with further employment.
The Department of "Ecology and assessment" held an intellectual game "leader appraiser - 2018" among students of colleges and universities of Karaganda.
Were evaluated by a competent jury: Zhusip Ainur Massaccesi-CEO of appraisal company LLP "BWCOMPANY" (Astana), Galinsky Ivan Anatolievich-the chief specialist of LLP ATEC "Expert", sihimbaev Muratbai Syzdykovich–chief scientific officer, NIIPI KEU, doctor of Economics, Professor.
Intellectual game consisted of 4 rounds:
I round of "HOMEWORK". Each team presented itself in the form of power point. They talked about their team and the relevance of the specialty "Assessment".
Round II "WHAT? Where? When?". The teams answered questions about the future specialty.
Round III "COMPETITION of CAPTAINS". Team captains competed in knowledge of the intricacies of the profession "Appraiser".
IV tour "CROSSWORD". The most exciting part of the game, consisting of 20 questions, mainly in the specialty "Assessment".
At the end of the game the places were distributed as follows:
1st place-Karaganda economic University;
2nd place-Karaganda state technical University;
3rd place-College of Economics, business and law KEU.

Doctor of Economics, Professor of Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation Svetlana Nikolaevna Grishkina will visit the Karaganda Economic University from November 26 to December 21, 2018 with a course of lectures on “Financial and non-financial reporting in business transparency”.
The "Social work and ANC" department held an Intellectual student's competition "aleumettik zhumys – adamgershilik bastauy" among students of specialties "Social work" and "Bases of the right and Economy". The competition is dated for Day of the social worker.
The intellectual competition took place in four stages; participation in it promoted increase in professional skill of students, development of their creative initiative and innovation.
Winners are awarded with diplomas 1,2,3 degrees and diplomas in the nominations "The best video", "The best wall newspaper", "The best creative decision".
Teachers of LRER department of KEUK Amantay A., Yessenov D., Khauiya S. held a special intellectual competition between pupils on 27.11.2018 y. The aim of an event was in the professional orientation of Karaganda schools` pupils. Schools №65 and №102 took place in that competition. The names of their commands were «Algyrlar» and «Alty zhuldyz». The game was consisted of 3 rounds. Questions were about biology, geography, history of Kazakhstan, world history and logical questions. The game was very interesting. №102 «Altyn Zhuldyz» took the second place of the team from school №65 «Algyrlar» took the 1st place. The teams were awarded with special diplomas and awards.
Choreographic ensemble «Jaina» participated in the XXXV International Festival –Competition of Children and Juvenile creativity «Creative discoveries» that was held from 19 to 21 November in St.Petersburg (Russian Federation) within the project «Salute of the Talents» and won Grand-Prix of the festival, as well as was awarded the first place Laureate Diploma and a diploma for the best costume.
In November 21, 2018 Senior Lecturer of the Marketing and Logistics Department Raiymbekova A.K. and Acting Director of the Center for Multilingual Education Akhmetova A.A. visited Bukhar-Zhyrau district with the purpose of vocational guidance.
Students were shown videos about our University, given information about faculties, grants, discounts and tuition fees, dormitories, academic mobility and business relationships with foreign universities.
Students of the school actively supported the conversation and showed interest in employment after graduation, availability and number of budget places and in General the peculiarities of student life in the KEU.
