Faculty of Finance, logistics and digital technologies (FFLDT)
The Faculty of Finance, Logistics and Digital Technologies of Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz has been operating in the educational services market since 1966. Its history began in 1968 when the Accounting and Finance Faculty was established as a separate unit from the Economics Faculty – the core division of the Karaganda Cooperative Institute of the Central Union.
The faculty trains highly qualified specialists who are in demand in various sectors of the economy. Graduates successfully build careers both in Kazakhstan and abroad. A high level of training ensures competitiveness in today’s labor market.
Over the years, the faculty was headed by deans who made a significant contribution to its development and academic values: Akimbeckov S.A. (1966–1968), Kharchenko I.I. (1968–1970), Shumekov Z.Sh. (1970–1981), Kuanishev S.S. (1981–1988 and 1990–1997), Zhakupov G.S. (1988–1989), Karasholakov S.A. (1989–1990), Almazhanov E.A. (1995–2005), Nakipova G.E. (2005–2006), Kudaibergenova S.K. (2006–2008), Nakipova G.E. (2009–2017), Serikova G.S. (2017–2025).
Since September 2025, the dean of the faculty has been L.K. Musipova.
The faculty consists of five departments: “Accounting and Audit,” “Marketing and Logistics,” “Finance,” “Digital Engineering and IT Analytics,” and “Higher Mathematics.”
