А round table was held with the involvement of practitioners for students of 4 courses of EP “Marketing” and “Logistics”. During the meeting, topical issues were discussed about the prospects of employment and demand on the labor market, about the requirements for professional and communicative qualities of graduates of educational institutions made by the employer.

On 22 nd of October 2019 had been organizing with the help of department of post-university education scientific seminar with professors and teachers and PhD students of the 1st course of educational programs 8D04101 “Economics” and 8D04102 “State and local government” on the issue of fixing and selecting topics for doctoral dissertations.
The Forum program included peace lessons in schools, round tables, lectures, master classes, sports and cultural programs.
More than 100 people took part in the Forum, many of them - representatives of the youth wing of various public organizations, students and young specialists in the field of international relations and public diplomacy, authors of humanitarian projects. The Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz was represented by students of the Faculty of Economics and Management Musabekovа Dilаra (group MN-18-4s) and Imangaliev Akylbek (group E-18-3s).
The organizers were: the Assembly of Eurasian Peoples and the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan with the support of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
16-th October 2019 The Department of "Marketing and logistics" held the annual international (Cathedral) student conference "Forum of young researchers", which was attended students and undergraduates from Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Kokshetau, Almaty, Temirtau, Astana, Taraz, Karaganda.
The conference discussed topical problems of various sectors of the economy in the following areas:
1Development of modern business in the digital economy;
2Socio-economic modernization of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the era of digitalization;
3Innovative approach of development of the market of services in Kazakhstan;
4Legal aspects of the implementation of the state program "digital Kazakhstan".
Based on the conference materials will be formed an electronic collection with an ISBN assignment.
On October 16, 2019, the Dostyk Coworking Center organized «5 Steps to Success» business training from Atameken business trainer, founder of Go Sauda, Go travel, International mentors group Zhartybaev A.E.
A businessman who has many years of experience told students about how you can open your own business, having only 10,000 tenge. And he told the audience about the difficulties that novice entrepreneurs face. He talked about promoting his own business in social networks in order to keep him constantly “afloat”.
The discussion was conducted by the students very lively, they were interested in absolutely everything: how did the parents react to starting a business, where to find premises, how to deal with “difficult” clients, etc.
Teachers of KEUK Isanov A. S., Yusupov M. T., Minzhanov M. N. and students-volunteers in Abay carried out large-scale professional orientation work for graduates of schools of this region.
Abai district is always famous not only for its scientific achievements, but also for sports results. From them it is possible to allocate Champions and prize-winners of the Olympic games and superiority of the world, such as Sapiev Serik, Zhusupov Abylaykhan, Maskaev Oleg, Ragozina Natalia and many others.
Every year, the number of people coming from Abai district to our KEUK grows every year. This is evidenced by statistics for the last 5 years. And there are certain explanations for this.
The vocational guidance meeting was held on October 14, 2019 in Abai "Department of education" and gathered all schools of Abai including Dubovka village.
Video clips are shown to graduates, information booklets about our University are distributed and questionnaires are filled in. Also for graduates competitions of stuffing of a soccer ball and game "Darts"were held.
October 12-13, 2019, the US Embassy in the Republic of Kazakhstan together with Nazarbayev University on the basis of Karaganda State University named after E.A. Buketov organized a competition for startup projects StartUp Weekend 2019 as part of the TECH CENTRAL ASIA program.
The international Central Asian startup development program TECH CENTRAL ASIA aims to help aspiring entrepreneurs, students, innovators and inventors who are interested in launching their own startups, building a sustainable business and its further development.
The main objective of the competition was to teach students how to create and run a business, in finding opportunities to enter international markets.
The event was attended by more than 100 participants from higher educational institutions of the Karaganda region, which were formed in 26 teams. The number of student teams that reached the final was 9, among which were the teams of our university. Projects of students of the VT-31 group Bulekbaeva Zhibek and Myrzataev Beksultan were among the winners. They got the opportunity to go through the two-month acceleration program of Nazarbayev University and speak at Demo Day in the city of Nur Sultan.

On October 9, 2019, at the Dostyk Coworking Center, the employees of the Research Institute of ELS organized and held a competition to select initiative students and teachers to participate in the promotion of TSIP technology (theory of solving inventive problems) in the Republic of Kazakhstan. TSIP technology is associated with the promotion of modern methodologies, innovative technologies and project management tools, the formation of a professionally functioning market for consulting and business educational (postgraduate) services.
During the stages of competitive selection, the following original ideas were put forward:
- cold room based quick conditioning;
- the possibility of using odors in the demonstration of food and others.
As a result of the competitive selection, a commission composed of the director of the Research Institute of ELS Khanov T.A. and the head of the laboratory of the Research Institute of ELS Bashirov A.V. recommends the following students as candidates from KEU:
