If the 20th century was the era of nation states, then the 21st century will be the era of civilization states. In my opinion, the first attempt to create a civilization state is the EU project. This course helps to understand the objective reasons for the unification of European countries into a single union, to learn interesting aspects of European integration, given that at the moment this is the only example of such integration. A comprehensive analysis of the European Union was carried out, both individual EU members and entire sub-regions within the EU were analyzed. The most interesting topics were those concerning the EU issues, as well as the analysis of these issues and forecasting of the EU development paths. Personally, I was also interested in EU diplomacy.

Thanks to the detailed study of the formation and development of integration, we can understand current problems and trace the cyclical nature of the ongoing processes. The theoretical material was very informative and understandable to everyone. Special attention was paid to the discussion, during which everyone could share their opinion and, as a result, a general solution to the problem was deduced.

ENSEMBLE OF FOLK INSTRUMENTS «NAZKONYR»

The ensemble of folk instruments «Nazkonyr»  is a musical collective that mainly performs Kazakh folk music using Kazakh musical instruments for this purpose. The ensemble is attended by students who have an elementary musical education in playing folk instruments: dombra, kobyz, bayan, etc., as well as without musical education, but who know how to play dombra, have excellent voices.

Riklefs Viktor

MSC in Biophysics, Vice-rector for Academic Work at KMU, he got the academic degree of International Master of Health Professions Education from Maastricht University (Netherlands). Currently, he is the PhD candidate in Maastricht University at the School of Health Professions Education. He was the associate investigator in 3 research projects sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Science and Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2001-2004, 2009, 2007-2009) and principal investigator in research project in 2012-2014 sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Science. He is a member of working group in 2 Tempus and Erasmus+ CBHE projects in 2013-2018 (virtual patients and problem-based learning).
