In the framework of the contract with the Committee of science MES on conducting research on the topic: "Organizational and applied problems of ensuring road safety in the Republic of Kazakhstan" on 29 February 2020 in Karaganda economic University was held the presentation of the monograph "Criminal legal protection transport security according to the legislation of Kazakhstan and Russia» (Moscow, Yurlitinform publishing house, 2020). The presentation was organized by the Institute of Economic and legal research of the University.
The presentation was made by the authors of the monograph: D.l.s., prof. Bakishev K. A. (KEUK, Kazakhstan) and D. D.l.s., prof. Chuchaev A. I. (Kutafin Moscow state UNIVERSITY, Russia).
After the presentation, a lecture was held on the topic: "Crimes against justice: problems of theory and law enforcement", which was read by D.l.s., prof. Chuchaev A. I.
The presentation and lectures were attended by teachers of departments, students, undergraduates and doctoral students of educational institutions of Karaganda.
As part of the implementation of the approved plan of joint activities, the Department of OU and SD and DP of the Karaganda region held a lecture on February 21, 2020 at 11.00 o'clock, in 206 audience with the participation of the head of the SO up of Karaganda, Lieutenant Colonel of the police Akhmetov A. B.
The topic of the lecture is "Interrogation: procedural characteristics, tactical features, psychologic features". The lecture was very interesting, the students received answers to all their questions on this topic.

On February 28, 2020, on the eve of the day of Gratitude and the 25th anniversary of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, the University hosted a Festival of gratitude. Gratitude day is a day of celebration of the Presidential policy of peace and harmony, thanks to which a unique model of national unity has been created in Kazakhstan. The holiday is based on the historical layer of traditions that originate in the customs of generosity, hospitality, charity and solidarity of the Kazakh people.
Russian, Korean, Tatar, German, Uzbek and Azerbaijani cultures were presented at the Festival, where students presented national dishes, decorative and applied art products, presented national costumes and prepared creative performances. The competition program was evaluated by the jury, which distributed the following categories:" Best national dish " was won by Russian cuisine," Best national costume "- German national costume, "Best creative number" - Korean folk dance, "Best presentation of the nation" - Uzbek nation.

There are a lot of ice blocks and snow on the roofs with the onset of spring. They can slide off the roof and cause serious injury to people.
In this regard, timely and comprehensive measures should be taken to bring the eaves of the roofs to a safe condition. If it is impossible to carry out such work, it is necessary to protect dangerous areas above the pedestrian zone with signal tapes, install warning signs and tablets.
The civil defense headquarters recommends that students and University staff observe the following safety measures in order to prevent injuries:
- avoid places that are surrounded by warning tape;
- if you hear a noise from above, speed up your step;
- do not walk on the street with headphones, you will not hear the noise of falling snow or ice from the roof;
- do not approach houses with pitched roofs;
- avoid being near power lines, building eaves, or other objects where snow may fall;
Beware of icicles and snow falling from roofs!
Adults need to explain to children the danger of games during the thaw under the eaves of roofs of houses, to exclude them from staying in these places. Playing under a dangerous winter roof can end sadly.

On 21 Feb 2020 head of the Department of Ecology and evaluation, doctor of chemistry, Professor G.G. Baikenova, associate Professor Ph. D. Ospanova G.K conducted career guidance work in Balkhash in school No. 17, where a meeting with school graduates took place № 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 15, 17 this academic year.
On February 21, 2020, the Department of Ecology and assessment held a regular scientific seminar with students and teachers of the Department on the topic "Ecologization of the economy".
