The Dean of the faculty of business, law and technology held a meeting with the theologian of the Center for research and analysis of problems of inter-confessional relations of the Karaganda region Kerimov Aibek on the topic "Kazakhstan patriotism and religion". The webinar addressed the current issues of patriotism and religion. At the end of the webinar, the students concluded: Patriotic education of young people is an integral part of the development of the entire civil society on the way to sustainable and sustainable progress. Thanks to the revival of the national memory of the people, its history and culture, the spiritual component is revived — religion, which accumulates a system of universal values — love, respect, humanism, compassion, honesty, responsibility, which make up the unshakable facets of patriotism.
The Dean of the faculty of business, law and technology held a meeting with the chief specialist of Department of the Agency for civil service Affairs and anti-corruption in Karaganda region Akim Santamarina on the theme "combating corruption – a common cause". The main goal of the event is the formation of an anti-corruption culture, improving the legal literacy of citizens. The speaker explained to the students the importance of forming and improving the anti-corruption culture in society, preventing corruption offenses.
The deans of FBLT, FEME, FFLDT held an online meeting with the Chairman of the Karaganda regional branch of the youth wing "Zhas Otan" Khamitov Yerzhan and members of the youth wing "Zhas Otan" KEUK. The meeting summed up the results of the events, which were attended by members of the youth wing "Zhas Otan". A scientific seminar on the topic "Organization of research activities of teaching staff using remote technologies" was held online on December 23, 2020 at the Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz (speaker Ph.D., associate professor Kalkabaeva G.M.). The event was organized by the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists. Young teachers, doctoral students and undergraduates of the university took part in the seminar.
Within the framework of the scientific seminar, the issues of organizing scientific research in the conditions of the remote format of the work of universities, the availability of digital resources and scientific data, modern trends in the field of publication activity of young scientists, the development of digital research skills of teachers, government measures to support youth scientific initiatives were discussed.
Such scientific seminars are held annually and are a platform for the exchange of experience in research activities and the development of the scientific potential of the university.
On December 9, 2020, a platinum lecture was given by Svetlana grishkina, Doctor of Economics Professor of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. Topic of the lecture: "Current trends in financial and non-financial reporting". Svetlana Nikolaevna described in detail what modern trends exist in the accounting system. The teaching staff of the Department and undergraduates thanked the Professor for interesting and valuable information!
On December 11, 2020 at 14.30, the Department of Social Work and the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan held a university-wide online round table dedicated to the celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
First-year students made presentations at the round table: Kadyrova A. (Log-20-2) «Kazakhstan in the international arena and in international organizations», Zhaksalyk A. (UA-20-2) «Historical significance of the Declaration of the Kazakh SSR on state sovereignty of Kazakhstan», Saidulaev M. (Log-20-2) «Significance of the 550th anniversary of the celebration of the Kazakh khanate», Kyzdarbekova A. (UA-20-2) «National currency of Kazakhstan», Fomichev E. (UA-20-2) «Personality of Elbasy, the First President of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev through the eyes of world leaders».
The topic and content of the presented reports evoked a lively response from the participants of the round table. Students actively participated in the discussion, actively answered questions.
On December 08, 2020, as part of the legal education of students, a meeting was organized on the ZOOM platform on the topic: "on administrative offenses among young people". The speaker of the meeting was the head of the administrative practice Department of the administrative police Department of the Karaganda region police Department, police Lieutenant-сolonel Zhartybaev E. A. information was given about the scale, causes and consequences of offenses committed among young people. The speaker called on students to increase self-awareness and self-esteem, to increase the promotion of legal knowledge.
As part of career guidance and in the run-up to World Human Rights Day, celebrated on December 10, Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Regulation of Economic Relations, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Natalya Vladimirovna Sidorova organized and conducted an online quiz at school No. 86 in Karaganda, which took place on 9 December 2020.
The quiz was attended by two teams, formed from students 11 "B" (Gerakina Eva, Smirnova Maria, Agadzhanyan Egine) and 11 "B" classes (Ermekova Aruzhan, Akhmetova Adel, Burabaev Sultan).
The quiz was held in the form of a game "Own Game" on the ZOOM platform. The questions of the game reflected the themes: children's rights, human rights, personal rights and freedoms of a person, constitutional consolidation of human rights and freedoms, international human rights standards.
The children had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of their rights and freedoms, as well as supplement their intellectual baggage with new ones.

On December 8, 2020 at 12.00 a regional scientific seminar on "Spiritual revival - the key to the formation of national consciousness" was organized by the Department of Kazakh Language and Culture of Kazakhstan of Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz.

On December 5, 2020, the Department of Kazakh Language and Culture of Kazakhstan organized the subject Olympiad "Til bilgiri" among schoolchildren online.
More than 70 students from 11 classes from 19 schools of the city took part in the Olympiad. During the subject Olympiads students answered questions on the text and wrote essays on specific topics.
Besides, the students were informed about the Karaganda Economic University, UNT, the specialties of KEU. Winners of subject Olympiads will receive special certificates from the rector of the university for the cost of training in 2021-2022 academic year. (5% 10% 15%)
