Saint Petersburg state University of Economics held the international student Olympiad "Economics and management - 2020"from October 19 to 23.
The Olympiad was divided into 13 sections, in 2 of which students of the Department "Marketing and logistics" took 2nd place.

November 3, 2020 The technological business incubator "Dostyk Coworking center" organized an online seminar on the ZOOM platform with the participation of the Regional coordinator of the Jas Project in the Karaganda region Omarkhanov N. Z. on the topic "Jas Project: project requirements and instructions for project implementation".
Nurgeldi Omarkhanov spoke about the implementation of this important initiative for the region. The project, launched jointly by the Ministry of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Bank for reconstruction and development, aims to help young people find themselves in life, help others, and in the future, perhaps, start their own business. As part of the project, initiative groups of young people are provided with grants for the implementation of socially significant ideas, and project participants are paid a scholarship. And after six months of working as a social project, without commercial profit, its founders can move with it to the business sphere.
He introduced students to the theoretical features of developing a business project, told about its structure and shared step-by-step instructions for writing a correct and structured startup project. Also Omarkhanov N. told how to correctly justify the significance of the project, the problem statement and answered the questions that arose during the meeting.
On October 26, 2020, an intra-University debate tournament was held among the participants of the Russian League of the Ulagat club dedicated to the socio-political and socio-economic situation in Kazakhstan. The tournament was held in three formats: American Parliamentary, British Parliamentary and Lincoln-Douglas formats.
Participants of the club during the tournament were divided into four teams, showed a worthy oratorical battle and showed a multi-faceted erudition in defending extraordinary points of view.
As part of the final game in the LD format, the title of "Best speaker" was earned by the debater Bozhbanov Aldiyar of the J-20-3 group.
1st place was taken by the team "Monkeys" consisting of Bozhbanov Aldiyar J -20-3 and Bukibaev Kurban J -20-6s.

On October 28, 2020, employees of the Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz took part in the 3rd Eurasian Summit of Digital Economy Leaders, which was held at the ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov. This summit was attended by representatives of various organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Russian Federation, South Korea, more than 50 people in total.
