The meeting of the Academic Council was held in Karaganda Economic University on March 7, 2017, which addressed issues related to education reform, criticized in social networks.
The actual reform that is being conducted in Kazakhstan today is the development of a multilingual education, the formation of a multilingual population in the modern conditions of a globalizing world.
The problem of position and the perspective of the language situation in modern Kazakhstan are reflected by the President of the country in the language strategy "Trinity of languages". According to the idea of the head of state, the positive development of trilingualism is possible only if there is a single political, ideological and cultural platform.
And today the teachers of universities have the most important task - to study modern methods of teaching of the discipline in English in leading universities of the world and to introduce them into the educational process with the goal of forming a professional poly-lingual personality.
Since November 2016, the Center for Multilingual Education has started functioning at the university; the process of implementation of multilingual education: the disciplines are developed in English, a contingent of trainees is identified, their knowledge is monitored, and qualified teachers are engaged.
2.03. 2017 at 13.10 hour in the audience 307b under the supervision of PhD of the Department of Economics and Management Omarova A.T. was made mini-conference held dedicated to the Address of President N.A. Nazarbayev from 31.01.2017 "The third modernization of Kazakhstan: global competitiveness" with students of the 1-3 courses. As a result of the conference, students received certificates and diplomas.
March 2, 2017 by the Department of Strategic Development was organized a meeting with representatives of KF JSC "Alfa-Bank" and students of 3 courses of KEUK. Representatives of KF JSC "Alfa-Bank" informed our students about available vacancies; about the possibilities of combining university studies and employment of students in a bank that will allow the end of studies already have work experience and acquire practical skills.
The meeting caused great interest among the audience, held an active dialogue, asked many questions. Representatives of KF JSC "Alfa-Bank" expressed wishes for further cooperation with our university.
The main result of the meeting: "Alfa-Bank" has filled vacancies by our students and gained great staff.
An open curatorial hour on the theme: "Heroes of the 2017 Universiade among us" held on March 2, 2017 group facilitator RD-32 Alekseenko, T. Institute of Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the period from 6 to 17 February 2017 held a competition among young scientists on the issue of redistribution of powers between branches of government.
The competition was attended by students and graduates of the Kazakh Humanitarian Law University, Eurasian National University and Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz.

March 1, 2017 the senior teacher of "World Economy and International Relations" Nazarov E.Zh. held a visiting session with the group MO-21k in the discipline "Foreign Policy and Diplomacy specialized countries (Middle East)," as well as for the implementation of the student project "Youth against religious extremism" in the message of the President of Kazakhstan in the center of the aid to victims of destructive religious movements "Nurly Bilim".
