December 6, 2018 held a round table dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which was attended by students and teachers of the University.
At the round table it was discussed that the independence day of Kazakhstan is the main national holiday in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is celebrated in Kazakhstan annually on December 16 - December 17. With the collapse of the USSR in 1991, the Union countries became a separate state. Among them was Kazakhstan. On December 16, 1991 the Supreme Council of Kazakhstan adopted the law "On independence and sovereignty of the state". Kazakhstan was the last among the countries of the USSR, which adopted the law on independence. This law, together with the Declaration of sovereignty of Kazakhstan adopted on October 25, 1990, strengthened the country of the Kazakh nation. Official recognition of Kazakhstan's independence was recognized by the United States of America, which was the first country overseas, followed by China, followed by the United Kingdom. This was recognized by Mongolia, France, Japan, South Korea, Iran and other States.
It was also noted that for 27 years in independent Kazakhstan economic and political reforms were carried out, which significantly increased the authority of the Republic in the international arena. Kazakhstan is a member of international and regional organizations, known as a reliable partner of both Western and Eastern States.

On the eve of the President's Day, the Department of Ecology and assessment held a scientific and information seminar on the theme: "Innovative directions to improve the environmental situation of modern society" dedicated to The President's Address "growth of welfare of Kazakhstan: improving income and quality of life" and the article "7 facets of the great steppe". Intellectual game “History of the great steppe”

Department of SW and APK together with the staff of the university library and with the participation of students organized and conducted an intellectual game “History of the great steppe” and an exhibition of books dedicated to the celebration of the day of the First President, “Leader of the nation” N.A. Nazarbayev, as well as devoted to the discussion of the article of the head of state “Seven faces of the great steppe”.
During the event, informative reports were announced and a quiz on the knowledge of the History of Kazakhstan was held. Of particular interest to students were questions about the culture of the Turkic world, the flora and fauna of Kazakhstan, as well as tasks to determine the historical identity of the proposed description of his contribution to the history of the Motherland.
Students got acquainted with the book Fund of the library on historical topics and the works of the President of Kazakhstan.
