Outstanding achievements of our students at the International Olympiad

On December 2, 2024, within the framework of the International Olympiad in Economics "Basic Problems of Macroeconomics", organized by the Department of Economics and Strategic Development of Ufa State Petroleum Technical University, students of Karaganda Kazpotrebsoyuz University took part and demonstrated outstanding knowledge and skills. The Olympiad was held in a distance format, and the purpose of the event was to stimulate creative growth and professional mobility of students.

Congratulations to the students of the Log-23-2 Arynov Aron, MK-22-2 Ilyasova Aya under the leadership of Saule Kalievna Mazhitova, as well as the students of the Log-22-1k group Zhekeev Zhandos, Toktarova Nurgul, Sarsenbai Meirambek, Serik Niyaz under the leadership of Konyrtaeva Kolkanat Baytorekyzy for the prizes won!

Kazpotrebsoyuz University in the startup arena: support and development of business ideas

On December 5, an exciting demo day was held at the IT hub "Terricon Valley", where startups from Karaganda presented their innovative projects and received grants for the development of their business. Among the projects presented are a QR menu for the HoReCa segment, an application to support nursing mothers and an artificial intelligence—based compiler for programming training. These grants will be an excellent support for teams to refine their products and take them to the next level.

Among the participants of the event were teachers and students of the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz. Elena Aleksandrovna Krasnoshchekova, a lecturer at the Department of Marketing and Logistics, and students of the Marketing Department actively participated in this event. This format helps our students and teachers not only deepen their knowledge, but also implement their business ideas, launch startups and establish contacts with investors, industry experts, as well as receive valuable recommendations on the development of their projects.

Demo day was an important step in the development of the startup ecosystem of Karaganda, supporting local entrepreneurs and their desire to enter new markets. We are proud that our students and teachers actively participate in such events that open up new horizons and opportunities for career growth and successful business!

Management of the XXI century: conference and student success

A regional scientific and theoretical conference "Management of the XXI Century: strategies, technologies and innovations" was held at the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz, as part of the celebration of Managers' Day. This event, held for the first time, brought together students, teachers and practitioners to discuss topical issues of management and the introduction of innovative approaches.

More than 40 articles were submitted to the conference, the participants made presentations in which they presented their ideas and research results in the field of modern management.

A special moment of the event was the solemn awarding of students for their scientific achievements. The best works were awarded with diplomas, which emphasized the high level of training of students and their desire for professional growth.

Platinum lecture by a judge for future lawyers

On December 06, 2024, a platinum lecture was held at the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz as part of the work of the CPC. The guest of honor was Tursunov Daniyar Maratovich, judge of the district court no.2 Kazybekbiysky district of the city of Karaganda.

Senior students got acquainted with the stages of judicial reform in Kazakhstan, problematic issues of the procedure for holding court sessions in civil proceedings. Special attention was paid to the observance of the principles of justice, transparency and equality of the parties in the civil process.

During the dialogue, the issues of specifics of the settlement of civil disputes, the main stages of the court session, the rights and obligations of the parties, as well as the procedural features of the consideration of cases were discussed, which allowed students not only to expand their theoretical knowledge, but also to familiarize themselves with the practical aspects of judicial activity.

The lecture aroused the interest of students, who actively asked questions on topics related to the practice of judges, procedural nuances and specifics of resolving civil disputes.

Such cooperation with representatives of the judicial system contributes to the formation of professional training for future lawyers.
