THE SECOND DAY OF "SCIENCE WEEK 2025": April 8, 2025
On April 8, 2025, as a part of "Science Week – 2025" at the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz, a round table was held on the topic: "Cybercrime and law: modern challenges of criminal law and criminal procedure regulation", organized by the Scientific Research Institute of Economic and Legal Research in the context of the implementation of the initiative topic "Criminal law and criminal procedure aspects of countering criminal offenses committed through the use of the Internet". During the event, scientific reports were presented by leading experts in the field of law, cybersecurity and law enforcement, as well as practitioners of law enforcement agencies.
As a result of the discussion, priority areas for further scientific research were identified.
Consultative seminar of the head of the laboratory of "Innovative and scientific-educational technologies", Candidate of Technical Sciences Bashirov A.V. on the topic: "Improving the research work of students at the university." During the event, modern approaches to the organization of scientific activities of students were considered, recommendations were given on the involvement of young people in research work, and effective practices for supporting scientific projects in the educational environment were presented.
Scientific seminar of the Director of the ELS Research Institute of the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz, Doctor of Law, Professor T.A. Khanov on the topic "The procedure for obtaining an author's certificate and registration of documents in the Kazpatent system". The seminar covered the key stages of the intellectual property registration procedure, including the preparation of necessary documentation, filing an application, examination and obtaining an author's certificate. Special attention was paid to practical aspects of working with the Kazpatent electronic platform, legal protection of scientific results and current changes in national legislation on intellectual property.
