"Career Festival – 2025" – an important recruitment event at the university
"Choosing a job together!" – this was the motto of the Career Festival held on December 3, 2025, at KarU Kazpotrebsouz. Students and graduates received a unique opportunity to meet personally with potential employers, ask questions, and learn about real vacancies and career prospects in the region's leading companies and state structures.
At the opening of the festival, the university's rector, Yerkara Balkarovich Aymagambetov, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. Emphasizing the importance of maintaining stable dialogue between employers and students, the rector noted that quality education is impossible without close integration with the real sector of the economy and state structures. It is precisely the university-employer-student communication that allows the parties to better understand each other's needs, identify common ground, and form joint pathways.
Traditionally, graduates of our university, who are successfully working in large national companies, state, and entrepreneurial structures, delivered short presentations. The speech by university graduate Daniyar Amanbayevich Kalimoldayev, Director of the Department at "Samruk-Kazyna Contract" LLP, particularly captured the participants' attention. The speaker emphasized that a modern university plays a key role in shaping professional competencies by providing necessary knowledge, skills, and a wide range of opportunities for career growth.
During the extended meeting of the Employer Council, a memorandum was signed with the Department of the Bureau of National Statistics for the Karaganda Region. Additionally, the Deputy Director of the Center for Labor Mobility for the Karaganda Region presented analytical materials outlining key labor market trends.
For their contribution to the professional development of students, systematic work with graduates, and the best employment results in 2025, awards in the nomination "Best Educational Program for Career Support" were received by the "Social Work" and "Food Technology" educational programs.
Also, as part of the career festival, a stand session showcasing current vacancies from employers, mini-interviews, and express interviews took place. Current students show extremely high interest in such meetings – the participation of employers and alumni creates a lively dialogue and forms a space for establishing new professional contacts. The festival confirmed the university's status as a platform where future leaders, in demand in the labor market, are shaped.
