On December 24, 2020 in the framework of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module “Theory and Practice of European Integration” (No. 600571-EPP-1-2018-1-KZ-EPPJMO-MODULE) the Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz arranged an international online roundtable on “Relevant Issues of Regional Integration: an Experience of the EU and ЕАEU”.
The event was organized by the working group of the Jean Monnet Module “Theory and Practice of European Integration”, the Department of World Economy and International Relations and the Faculty of Economics, Management and Entrepreneurship. It was attended by Kazakhstani and foreign scientists, prominent state and public figures, business community, experts, academic and administrative staff, and students of the University.
The speakers of the international roundtable were: Dr. Tatiana Muravska, Professor, Director of the Center for European and Transition Studies of the University of Latvia, Head of the Doctoral Program in Business Administration of the Riga Stradins University, President of the Latvian European Community Studies Association (Latvia); Kuralay Bayzakova, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Director of the European Information Center, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Kazakhstan); Ksenia Muratshina, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of International Relations, Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Among the participants of the roundtable discussions were representatives of the 'QazTrade' Trade Policy Development Center of the Ministry for Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Kazakhstan), PA Chamber of Commerce of the Karaganda region (Kazakhstan), Department of the Agency for the Protection and Development of Competition of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Karaganda region (Kazakhstan), NCE “Atameken” of Karaganda region (Kazakhstan), Babesh-Boyai University (Romania), Belarusian Trade and Economic University of Consumer Cooperatives (Belarus), Belgorod University of Cooperation, Economics and Law (Russia), Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Kazakhstan).
