On State Policy in the Field of Interethnic Relations

On April 17, 2026, an informational meeting was held at Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz with the participation of the regional information and explanatory group of the Internal Policy Department of the Karaganda Region.

The event was organized for students of the “International Relations” educational program and was dedicated to the implementation of state policy in the field of interethnic relations. The meeting was attended by representatives of the House of Friendship of Karaganda, highlighting the importance of institutional support for interethnic dialogue and social cohesion in the region.

During the event, key issues related to strengthening interethnic harmony, ensuring social stability, promoting a culture of tolerance, and fostering interaction among different ethnic groups were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the role of public associations and state institutions in implementing policies of social cohesion.

– Vitaliy Albertovich Khmelevsky — Chairman of the Karaganda Regional Polish Society “Polonia”;
– Gulnara Kaliyevna Kasembayeva — Deputy Director of the Public Institution “Qogamdyq Kelisim”.

The event was held in an open dialogue format, allowing students to ask questions and discuss important aspects of state policy in this field.
